Barbara Langford
President, Childcare Associations Australia

Barbara is a Montessori teacher who has a passionate belief in the value and importance of a child's early years. She established her first centre, Jescott Montessori Pre-school, for her own daughter to attend in 1989. Jescott celebrates its 20th year this October and Barbara is very proud that her daughter Jessica now teaches beside her as a Montessori teacher herself.

During the past 20 years of involvement as a Montessori teacher, Barbara has established six centres in Adelaide. She remains passionately committed to providing high quality outcomes for children and this is evident through her work as President of Childcare Associations Australia and her involvement in other organizations which advocate for families and children.
