Monique Webber

In a career spanning 15 years with the family day care national peak body, Monique Webber was appointed to the position of General Manager of Family Day Care Australia in October 2005 and is currently Acting CEO.

Monique was the Editor of JiGSAW - the magazine of Family Day Care Australia - for 12 years before recently taking up the role of Executive Editor of that publication. She is also the Executive Editor of Australian Family. She is a member of the Society of Editors (NSW) and of the Australian Institute of Management.

Monique is honoured to once again participate on the judging panel for this year's Australian Family Fisher-Price Child Care Awards - a role she has enjoyed for three consecutive years.

She is the mother of an 18 year old son and 16 year old daughter. As a full-time working mum Monique is passionate about excellence in early childhood education and care, believing secure, happy and socially well adjusted children are the result.

Monique is currently studying a Masters degree in Business Administration by distance education through Southern Cross University which she will complete in early 2009.
