Paul Clancy
Managing Director, Australian Family

Paul Clancy is the Managing Director of Australian Family and has been the instigator of the research and development behind the organisation. 
Australian Family was formed in 1997, the head office is located in Melbourne, with another office in Sydney.

Being a father of four children aged 14 weeks to 8 years, Paul has a clear appreciation and understanding of the children’s services sector.  Having worked closely with over 20 peak children’s service agencies across Australia, Paul’s knowledge of the industry is extremely detailed.

Australian Family came about because Paul believed there was a void in the community for information on parenting issues, so he started publishing Australian Family Magazine.  Australian Family Magazine provides up to date, quality information regarding parenting issues and delivers the information in a refreshing and down to earth style.  Australian Family Magazine is also delivered directly to parents via the Family Pack sampling bag that is delivered directly to children’s service centres nationally.  With a circulation of 300,000 families, Australian Family‘s reach is extensive.

Paul’s business philosophy is about connecting marketers with families while rewarding the children’s service sector with financial benefits.  For every magazine that is distributed, each year Australian Family returns monies to each of the children’s service associations. Australian Family has returned in excess of $625,000 since 1997 to these peak children’s service associations.
